The Richmond Singers is a 55 voice women’s choir which began performing in 1971. Our purpose is "to sing, in harmony, a variety of music for the enjoyment of the members as well as to give public and private performances for the listening pleasure of others". We have two major performances per year, a Family Christmas Concert in December and a Spring Concert in May. The Richmond Singers have performed in shopping malls, at City Hall, South Arm Fall Fair, the airport and senior centers. |

Richmond Youth Honour Choir |
Under the leadership of Artistic Director, Lorraine Jarvis, the Richmond Youth Honour Choir has grown into two dynamic and outstanding choirs reflecting the richness of the Richmond music scene. With 47 eager young singers in The Elementary Choir and 25 youth in the secondary Chamber Choir, singers are auditioned each year and chosen for their musical talent. From Bach to Oscar Peterson, from ethnic folk songs to movie favourites, our singers bring joy, inspiration and beauty to their audience. The Richmond Youth Honour Choir presents formal concerts in addition to singing at Conferences, at Senior's Residences and with other musical groups. We have performed with the Vancouver Symphony Orchestra, Charlotte Diamond, RCOC, the Richmond Legion Band and the Richmond Music School Orchestra. Singers and parents rave about our high musical standards and our vibrant, exciting style.
