Rationale
RAC believes that it is time for Richmond to have a new Cultural, Visual & Performing Arts Facility. Currently, the Gateway Theatre has outgrown its facilities & Richmond does not have enough exhibition space for visual arts. Richmond Orchestra & Chorus also needs performance space. The needs of our community are greater than the infrastructure available.
Recent News The Richmond Arts Coalition partnered with the BC Children’s Art and Literacy Centre Society, Gateway Theatre, Tourism Richmond, City of Richmond, and Richmond Chamber of Commerce to conduct a feasibility study and economic scan for a new arts and cultural facility in Richmond.
